    A virgin relaxer is a hair treatment that chemically straightens natural hair that has never been treated with any type of chemical processing before. It is called a “virgin” relaxer because the hair has not been previously relaxed or chemically treated, making it in its “natural” state.

    A relaxer retouch is a chemical process that applies a relaxer to the new growth or regrowth of hair that has been previously relaxed.
